Terms and Conditions

Thank you for trusting Dear Skin NL, as the place to perform your aesthetic treatments.  Below you can review our policy for reservations, changes and cancellations of appointments.  This information will allow you to know the meaning of booking, confirming and canceling an appointment.  First, we’ll explain how treatments are booked and confirmed, then there’s an explanation of the early and late cancellation policy.

All our appointments for general treatments must be “confirmed and reserved” with an advance payment of 100% of the value of the treatment.  Such appointments are booked and confirmed immediately after payment is made.  Confirmed and booked appointments can be CHANGED in advance when this is done within the “time frame” given by Dear Skin NL’s “Early Change” policy. 

We give our valued clients a 48 hour deadline before treatment.  “Late change” (less than 48 hours before treatment), the system automatically redeems the service paid in advance.  The same applies to package sessions that involve more than one session and are currently available in a customer’s account.  We will explain all these terms in detail in the following paragraphs. 

CANCELLATION TIMES

EARLY CANCELLATION: This type of cancellation is within the period indicated above;  or 48 hours BEFORE treatment.  This early termination does not redeem prepaid services, reservation deposits or package sessions. 

LATE CANCELLATION: This type of cancellation is beyond the maximum time allowed, or in less than 48 hours. In these cases, the system redeems services paid in advance, session packages or treatment reservation deposits, without exclusions or preferences granted to clients. 

COURTESY REMINDERS

Because we care about our customers, and we want to provide the best professional service, we have established a “courtesy reminder.” 

Generally, our system sent you an appointment reminder message 72 hours before your scheduled and confirmed appointment, via WhatsApp messages.  We do this to give our clients the opportunity to prevent any problems that may eventually result in an appointment change or cancellation.  However, please note that “This message is a ‘friendly reminder’, which is done as a ‘courtesy’ and is in no way an obligation of Dear Skin NL.”

DELAYS

As a way of providing the best professional service to ALL of our customers, we have included a late policy.  Delays directly affect the planning of other clients’ agendas and compromise the QUALITY of our services.  This is the reason why the following cases are considered. 

Client Delay: For all of our appointments, we give our clients a 15-minute window to consider unforeseen delays.  On the other hand, we appreciate a notification to customers if this delay is somehow expected, like a traffic jam for example.  Customers can notify you by phone or WhatsApp as soon as they know they will NOT be more than 15 minutes late.

After the 15-minute window, the system automatically cancels said appointment, and this is done in order to MAINTAIN the best quality in the service of our treatments.  Again, we take our next client’s schedule into consideration because the next appointment will take place on time.  After the 15 minute window, the system will perform a cancellation and automatically redeem the advance payment.  This also applies to package sessions that are still available in a customer’s account.  However, we have come across situations where a client insists that a treatment be done in a hurry, the result of said treatment may be COMPROMISED and the client will be RESPONSIBLE for such a decision. 

This applies to all treatments.  Again, when this happens, the client agrees to the RIGHT NOT to claim for poor or unwanted results. 

We want our clients to understand that Dear Skin NL treatments require minimal time for quality reasons, and delays greater than 15 minutes result in insufficient time to perform treatments. 

Please be punctual, schedule a reminder to get the BEST results from our services.

Dear Skin NL Delay: Treatment at Dear Skin NL can take up to 15 minutes without causing harm to the client, because again, we give all our clients a 15-minute window, that will not affect the quality of our treatments, please Please understand that this is a “grace period.”  In the rare case of a delay equal to or greater than 30 minutes by Dear Skin NL, the client will be entitled to a 50% discount on the service provided. 

 

PACKAGES

  • The packages are for one person only, that is, they cannot be shared or exchanged with another person.
  • The package of (5) sessions allows a maximum of 2 date changes. This package is valid for 5 weeks.After this time, the provision time given is understood to have BEEN EXPIRED;  unless the Dear Skin NL calendar allows to make a “kind exception” to our client and this is previously discussed and agreed between both parties. 
  • Packages of (10) sessions allow a maximum of 3 date changes, this package is valid for 10 weeks. After this time, the provision of the service will be understood as EXPIRED. Again unless the Dear Skin NL calendar allows a “kind exception” to be made to our client and this is previously discussed and agreed between both parties.

If you have paid for a package, but then want to CANCEL it or do not want to complete the treatment sessions, Dear Skin NL has a STRICT policy that it is NOT possible to receive a PARTIAL or FULL refund in any case. 

Please understand that PACKAGE treatments take up over 70% of our calendar year and this results in limited availability for new clients. 

 

WAITING ROOM

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring other people to your appointment.  We do not want to overwhelm the common areas of our current valued customers. 

We also keep in mind that potential NEW clients may also want to book an appointment.  In the event that a client requests to be accompanied by someone, this can be discussed and agreed in advance, but this exception is ONLY for significantly important personal reasons, again it must be discussed and agreed with Dear Skin NL in advance. 

 

REFUNDS

Advance payments with a special “discount” and/or for reserved appointments “promotions” will NOT give the right to a refund of any kind. In cases where a client has booked more than 1 treatment, the client has the right to “share” the value of an amount between treatments.  The balance of the (2nd) treatment already reserved may be less, greater or of the same value, so there are specific instructions to follow.  When the value of said 2nd reserved treatment is LESS, the client must pay the DIFFERENCE.  In the case of a GREATER amount, the client may use this remaining value as a “POSITIVE balance”. 

All purchases require personal data and an email address.  This is because Dear Skin NL originated and will share receipts or tickets so our customers can keep personal records.  And in our case, we have to keep this information for business purposes, like business records.

By booking an appointment, the client accepts the conditions established in the “Reservation, Change and Cancellation Policy” Thank you for your trust.
