• Do not drink alcohol in the previous two days.
• No smoking on the day of the procedure
• It is advisable to stop taking medications that can cause thinning of the blood (such as Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, Metamizol, analgesics, antihistamines and the like) in the two days before
• Do not drink coffee or hot drinks 12 hours before
• Refrain from eating salty, spicy, greasy foods in the previous two days.
• In 24 hours you should not sunbathe, or use a spa or sauna
• You have to avoid worries or fear because that produces an excess of adrenaline
• It is preferable that five days have elapsed since the beginning of the menstrual cycle

These little rules help prevent bruising and swelling.
